This week, I wrote a story about Yuko Hayashi, a 79-year-old organist.
This woman has a fascinating story, including growing up in Japan during WWII, working in factories making submarine engines when she was just 12 or 13 and then coming to the United States in the 1950s, by herself.
She went to the Boston Conservatory to study the organ. She went on to be the head of the department there for 30 years.
But the best part about this article? I got to shoot video AND include a clip of her music.
